Members and friends of Grace Bible Church in Silver Lake will be starting their next session of an archery ministry called Centershot for ages 7 years and up! Centershot is a Bible-based archery ministry that consists of a 45 minute Bible study and 45 minutes of archery instruction one day a week for 8 weeks. The church provides the bows and arrows which are used during the training sessions in the church basement shooting range. Participants pay a nominal fee to help cover the cost of the study book. The next session of Centershot will begin Sunday, Feb 2 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Space is limited so those interested in finding out more are encouraged to contact the church office (320)327-2352.

Potato Pancake Dinner on Sunday, February 2nd from 9 am – 2 pm at the First Ev. Lutheran Church of Glencoe. Regular Pancakes will also be served along with sausages, cheese, applesauce, syrup, beverages, and ice cream. Tickets are $11 for adults, $5 children, and under (3) yrs. free. It’s the SLEEPY EYE SPORTSMAN’S CLUB 38th ANNUAL FISHING Derby to be held SUNDAY FEBRUARY 2nd FROM 12-3 PM on Sleepy Eye Lake. registration begins at 9:30 am. 4 cash prizes will be awarded in 2 categories, Entry fee is $5.00 per person for the contest. The 15th annual Hammer and Nails Fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity will be Friday, April 24th at the Crow River Golf Club. 5:30 pm Social House, 6:30 pm German Themed Dinner. Also take part in the beer and wine raffle, live and silent auction, and listen to music from the Jolly Ramblers.
