About Spicy Creamy Kadai Chicken RecipeKadai Chicken Recipe: One of the classic Indian chicken curries, kadai chicken is a chicken recipe from North India, known to be spicy and full of flavour. The name comes from the way of cooking this recipe which is in a 'kadai' or wok. A staple dish in every restaurant menu, this chicken dish is prepared at home on special occasion of festivals or dinner parties. It takes about half to one hour to cook it perfectly and with simple ingredients that are available at home. Best enjoyed with a choice of bread like roti, naan or paratha, you can also have this with some rice.

: Juicy chicken chunks simmer in a spicy broth of tomatoes, chillies, onion and host of spices. Finish off with a note of cream! A beautiful and flavourful chicken curry to relish!

Marinate chicken with the ingredients mentioned and keep it aside for a while.

Grind all the ingredients for the tomato paste into a fine paste.

In a frying pan, shallow fry chicken pieces to light brown color.

In the same oil add onion, ginger and green chillies for sauteing and stir till onion turn golden brown.

Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and kasuri methi.

Now add the tomato mixture and a cup of water.

Once it boils, add fried chicken pieces and mix everything together.

Add a little bit of salt if required.

Pop the lid on and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.

Once finished cooking, add a cup of cream to give it a rich taste.


Chicken Curry In Coconut Milk Recipe

1.

Wash and keep aside chicken pieces.

In a pan dry roast coriander seeds, red chili, pepper, cumin seeds, mustard seed, fenugreek

cinnamon and grind to fine paste.

In a thick bottomed kadai heat oil. To this add ginger,cloves garlic, green chillies and onion. Sieve well till light brown and add to this the chicken pieces. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

Now add the masala paste and stir well put turmeric powder ,salt and curry leaves.

6.

Close the curry with a lid and cook for 10mts.

7.

Open the lid stir well and add half of the coconut milk. Now let it cook in slow fire till the chicken is tender. When tender add the remaining coconut milk and simmer and and let it cook.

8.

Remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves
