Question by Judy: Does anybody know where I can find moderately priced cooking classes for children (7-13) in Miami, Florida?
Best answer:
Answer by curiousgeorge I am going to suggest buying a few cookbooks geared towards kids in the kitchen & you teach them. Can you imagine the fun? I only have one child who really likes to cook. Sigh!

Image by maureen_sill making vegan food, you flatter me with the nice things you say about the food i make for you i owe all my skills at all to amber, she taught me so much about food this year, what is healthy and what tastes good, she is my main inspiration for this experimental summertime veganism which is probably the most positive thing in my life right now besides my couple of friends here we watch trippy german movies in my parents living room and ride bikes for an hour in the rain, ripshit speeds sometimes, going so fast down my street and then slower than i thought possible on a bike singing exaggerated versions of animal collective songs i feel like a kid when we’re together sometimes and then we watch fucked up movies and talk about sex and i’m reminded of my actual age riding for miles and getting creeped out by these movies, i’m multitasking as always they are awesome and terrible and intense and beautiful i can barely handle it listening to the rain and smelling moss and moisture in my living room i’m obsessed with smells, i wish i could turn it into another sense i wish i could turn a smell into a type of touch or a sound but i guess they all go together, the smell of grass doesn’t seem to go with the texture of it, to me, i say nothing about it you’re looking up dates on the internet while i’m writing my zine baby watermelons and organic canned food bike grease and fleetwood mac records rain water in our hair and ripping holes in our tshirts everything depresses me a little bit but only if i pay attention to it we’re doing okay on our bikes i turn to you and say, it’s so good to see so much of you this summer i know we’re going to take care of each other you say yeah, we’re going to take care of each other
Stir 100g of butter. Add 2 eggs + 150g sugar and stir again. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Melt 200g of chocolate the "Bain-marie" way. Add to the mixture above and stir again. Add 200g of flour. Add 200g of chopped pecans or walnuts. Lay the mixture down in a baking plate. It should be about 1cm high. Put in owen for about 12-15min.

Notice there are other recipes (original U.S. ones) that recommend to do brownies totally differently (melting the butter). Haven’t tried those yet.

Question by Kat: Vegan cooking classes or online assistance? I have been vegan before but I stopped because nearly every vegan recipe I found was 20 ingredients long and usually very complicated. I learned how to cook just by throwing ingredients together that sounded good. American diet = meat + starch. Now I need to figure out how to modify that to Vegan diet = protein + veggies. I don’t like tofu but most other protein sources are fine. How can I make sure I’ve got all the nutrition in my daily meals? I don’t like most online meal planners because they have a different breakfast and lunch each day. I’m a simple shopper and a simple cook, give me one meal I can repeat for several days. I do like my dinners to differ each day, but I’d really like to find a weekly theme so I can reuse ingredients and make sure I don’t waste food.

Image by oskay Here’s the tricky part: damn carefully plug in the other end of the cord. A much better strategy is to first plug the other end of the cord into a power strip and then flip the switch on. Under no circumstances should you touch either one of the forks, the hot dog, or other exposed surfaces unless you can actually see that the other end of the cord is *not plugged in.* The hot dog cooks rapidly, in maybe one or two minutes. Watch for swelling, a change in surface shape and luster, and finally smoke and/or cracking to indicate doneness. Overdo it, and there may be a nasty smell to go along with it.

Question by fat: Culinary professionals, what is the best way to get your degree in the culinary arts? I’m considering to be a chef (and I’m still in high school) and I want to know what’s the most practical/money-saving way to get into the industry. Do you think majoring in business in college and then going to culinary school will benefit me? Or will I end up paying more money than I need to? In other words, how did you become a chef and are there any decisions that benefited you or you regretted?

please help me to be clear and overcome the Confusion. thank you!

Answer by Cece Lets look at it this way, you are planning to go do your culinary arts training course in Selangor, Malaysia. This is a training course in an academy and do you know how many people are also enrolled in this academy doing the same course as you. Taking this as your compass pointer, do you think all will get a job once they complete the course there. If it is, thats wonderful. Each year, how many students graduate from colleges, universities, academies in Malaysia and overseas etc and are all these people guaranteed a job once they finished school. In my opinion, any certificate or credential is an added testimonial to your achievement or accomplishment but not necessary be the passport to enter into the company and be accepted to work and get a high pay. Its the culmulative of luck, experience and believe it or not, coincidence. I wish you luck and the best in all your endeavour.

bok choy :: Article Creator 'She Says It Like She's Trying Not To Laugh.' Everett (@everett.Toy) is cracking TikTok up after showcasing some of the curious pronunciation and diction mannerisms of a robotic self-checkout machine's voice at Stop & Shop, a retailer that's no stranger to implementing robotic help in its stores. One of his more recent posts shows him buying yams. Viewers are tickled pink with the "aggressive" manner in which the grocery store's self-service system calls out the produce. "Okay the self checkout voice saying 'YAM' is kinda aggressive," Everett writes in a text overlay of the TikTok, which shows him processing the sale of a yam on the self-checkout machine. He leaves it on the automatic register's scale until a robotic voice shouts, "Move your…YAMS" The TikToker, chuckling, grabs the vegetable and places it into a bag ...
