Owner of Yassin's Falafel House becomes a US citizen - WVLT

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -The owner of Yassin’s Falafel House announced he became a U.S. citizen Tuesday.

Yassin Terou announced on Twitter that his dream came true.

“It’s always been an honor to be part of the American community but today is special because I’m going to continue the dream and the work as a citizen of the land of the American dream,” said Terou in a Twitter post.

Terou continued to thank his attorney Hammad Sheikh for helping him with the application and says he looks forward to more celebration and hard work to continue in America.
